We are so excited to share with you the inaugural edition of the Destination Styling Series! This shoot was conceptualized almost two years when we were approached by Josie from Josie Derrick Photography, who had always dreamed of shooting in Italy but didn’t know where to start.
” Working with Nyachia was such a joy and a huge weight off my shoulders! I have planned styled shoots in the past but never this large and never in another country (Italy). She handled so many of the details that were outside of my expertise; organizing venue information and coordinating all of the other moving parts was something I could not have done on my own.”
We both wanted to create something authentic and organic to match our intimate elopement story so we returned to the small town of Cortona in the Tuscany region of Italy where Josie spent a semester abroad in her university days.
“Having Nyachia on my team was something I would do again every time. A styled shoot is very much an event and has so many moving parts. Being able to focus on shooting on the day of the session was so refreshing and allowed us to get the most out of our shoot in areas we both thrive in.”
Thank you Josie for entrusting us with your vision and we are so excited that our shoot found a home on one of our favorite wedding blogs, Wedding Sparrow! See more here.
