Wedding Venues on the French Riviera

The French Riviera is a truly magical coastline along the Mediterranean. Its beaches, one-of-a-kind views, and high-end restaurants, shops, and entertainment make it a favored location for destination weddings and special events for those seeking the very best in quality and experience, without compromise. Three of my absolute favorite wedding venues on the French Riviera are Villa Belrose, Le Beauvallon, and Chateau Saint-Georges.

Villa Belrose

Located on the Côte d’Azur, Villa Belrose is a 5-star luxury hotel that overlooks the pristine Bay of Saint-Tropez. With the city-centre only minutes away, the nightlife, cafes and shops are yours to enjoy.

If you’re interested in exploration, the canyons and waters of the Gorges du Verdon and the Medieval fairytale village of Èze are beautiful day trips nearby. Onsite accommodation, a fireworks license and breakfast included are a few perks of many, as well as being one of our exclusive partnerships.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens with a heated pool and luxurious wellness centre, when you’re ready to get off your feet, you and your
bridal party can relax before and after the big day and enjoy being pampered. The grand views alone will capture most, but their personalized service will truly create an experience to last a lifetime.

Le Beauvallon

An absolute hidden-gem, this wedding venue on the French Riviera manages to exude both intimacy and majesty. With a long history beginning in 1911, this ‘epitome of luxury’ brought together the best and brightest celebrities in the arts, theatre, literature, and the world of finance.

Over time, it became the intimate, luxury estate that it is today. If you’re excited to plan a wedding that includes all of the younger members of your family and friends, this venue offers the best in entertainment, with a games room, 12-seat cinema, musical instruments, and the option for private karaoke.

Le Beauvallon is surrounded by castles, museums, galleries, and opulent shops and restaurants, leaving nothing to be desired. This private paradise offers onsite accommodation, and you are free to sing and dance the night away until 5am! The private beach, open-air pavilion, and views of the starry skies and aqua seas make for the perfect location to celebrate.

Chateau Saint-Georges

Nestled in the hillside of the medieval town of Grasse, with some of the most spectacular views on the Côte d’Azur, this 19th-century chateau was built by famed Grasse perfumer Leon Chiris.

Fitting, considering Grasse is known as the perfume capital of the world. Both offering a private yet palatial feel, the venue exudes luxury and exclusivity. White and gold gilded interiors, sprawling rooms, and 3 hectares of parkland bring together an air of French aristocracy with Southern charm while creating an exclusive experience that truly is all your own. The Temple of Love was built with spectacular weddings in mind, while a Roman-inspired indoor swimming pool and wellness centre offer rest and relaxation.

Wedding Venues in Provence

The history steeped in the hills, villages, and chateaux of Provence creates a truly unique experience for those visiting the region. The sense of being a part of something so deeply rooted, of being taken back to a time when beauty, art, food, drink, and architecture were celebrated and enjoyed, whilst being surrounded by both the Southern Alps and the Mediterranean, makes Provence a must-have on your list of possible destination wedding locations. Bastides du Gordes, Chateau de la Gaude, and Château Robernier are three wedding venues in Provence that you should absolutely not miss exploring…

Bastide du Gordes

Located on a cliff-top overlooking the sensational historical village of Gordes in the region of Luberon, Bastide du Gordes revisits the majestic charms of 18th century France with its furniture, art, and interior decor.

The centuries-old stone exterior reminds you of the chateaux of old, but the high-class service, prestigious Sisley Spa, terraces, pool, yoga, live music, and large selection of restaurants … the list goes on … make this gem of a stately home one of the most spectacular and with accommodation for up to 90 guests.

Gordes itself is listed as ‘one of the most beautiful villages in France’, with its cobblestone streets, hills, historic architecture, and awesome views making it a destination not to be missed, and you can easily lose track of time here whilst you celebrate with your family and friends!

Chateau de la Gaude

In the heart of estate vineyards in Aix-en-Provence, in an idyllic and soothing oasis surrounded by French gardens, the Chateau de la Gaude is a relaxing and peaceful escape from the busy world, while still offering all of the trappings of a modern hotel.

Restored to glory in 2019, not only in its décor and amenities, this venue also boasts a Michelin Star restaurant and offers the absolute best in French cuisine. The Cave offers quality wine for tasting, including their own organic charities from their estate vineyards, and the gardens are serene and enchanting, perfect for a simple stroll or for setting up your wedding ceremony on the grounds. This venue breeds tranquility, rest and joy.

Chateau de Robernier

When it comes to wedding venues in Provence, this chateau can be dated back to the 16th century and until 2005 belonged to the same noble family for 400 years. The majesty of the castle remains, and recent restorations offer modern amenities within its historic walls.

The venue’s original period features, olive groves that are centuries old, and the private and exclusive nature of the venue for use make it a fairytale of a destination. If you and your guests are interested in offerings outside of your venue, the village of Cotignac, with its 18 fountains and numerous waterfalls, is a charming village to visit.

Also being one of our exclusive partnership venues, Chateau de Robernier houses up to 24 guests overnight, with space for 200 to celebrate your wedding day. There is no shortage of stunning offerings in and around this beautiful chateau!

These top 6 destination wedding venues in the South of France each offer their very own charm, history, and beauty. Whatever your preferences, I can guarantee that the South of France can help you bring your dream wedding to life!
