Magali & Milos’s Orthodox celebration was the first wedding of the 2016 wedding season at the Château de Varennes which is located in the Burgundy region of France. Guests traveled from Brazil, Serbia and other parts of the world to witness their celebration of love in the private chapel on the château’s estate. Dressed in a Monique L’Huillier gown, Magali wowed her guests with her elegance and modern stance to the traditional Serbian Orthodox ceremony. The bride and groom stayed true to some traditional customs as they were crowned with flower wreathes instead of the ceremonial gold crowns, a special touch to pay homage to the grooms religious beliefs.
“Our guests are the ones what really made our day special and unique. As the Château de Varennes is somewhat isoloated on its own private estate, it allowed us to bring our little world together and spend a whole weekend with our loved ones. We had more than 30 nationalities at our wedding! It was a crazy mix of cultures and languages but no matter where you come from, everyone speaks the same language when it comes to partying!”
