The Amalfi Coast is known for its breathtaking beauty, from the stunning views of the Mediterranean and it’s gorgeous beaches to the perfect charm of old villas, cobblestone streets and Italian cafés. It’s no wonder the Amalfi Coast is on so many bucket lists! Though it is an amazing vacation destination, I think it’s through the language of romance that it stands out the most. That being said, we’ve put together your guide to the perfect honeymoon on the Amalfi Coast.
If you’re craving a honeymoon along the coast, be sure to plan your escape between May and October. The last thing you want is to be caught during the off season when some of the hotels and ferries that grace the Amalfi Coast shut their doors. Once you’ve penciled in the dates, it’s time for the fun part. Planning the honeymoon!

Though there are a number of ridiculously amazing villas and hotels along the coast, we are going to guide you through our personal top 3 villas for a honeymoon, all with incredible views of sea and sky.
The Villa Treville is a five star luxury hotel, a truly breathtaking oasis that graces the cliffs of Positano. The hidden away private yacht club and private seaside gym and jacuzzi are to die for. More like a home than a hotel, the Villa Treville is one of the most exclusive venues and places to stay on the Amalfi Coast.
Casa Angelina is modern, elegant and chic and sits “in the enchanting village of Praiano between Positano and Amalfi.” An absolute luxury boutique hotel, it’s set up with relaxation in mind. This gorgeous spot has an exceptional rooftop bar with views that will take your breath
away and offers specials such as romantic weekend retreats, ‘body and soul’ treatments and other opportunities to be pampered in ways uniquely set up by Casa Angelina.
Lastly, Il San Pietro is truly for you if being beachside is what you crave on your honeymoon. It’s the only hotel in Positano with direct access to a private beach. The cove has a solarium, a restaurant and bar by the sea and is surrounded by the pristine blues of the Mediterranean. You’ll also find a panoramic swimming pool with views of both the sea and the Latarri Mountains to enjoy a peaceful dip under the coastal sun, or take the opportunity to charter “The Joey”, a perfect little yacht to take you around the coast or the gulf of Naples. Private luxury at its finest. All three of these favourites have easy access to the bustling daytime shops and cafés and the glamorous nightlife of Positano.
Aside from exploring the epic number of shops and cafés, we absolutely adored boating while visiting the Amalfi Coast. It’s romantic, it’s exciting and just makes you feel so free!
You can hop on a charter from Positano and escape to Capri for the day, basking in the Mediterranean sun as you hold hands with your love and sip on some local limoncello in the famous Piazzetta . Make your way to the Marina Piccola , where Ulysses was seduced by the sirens, for a romantic dip in the sparkling waters. You can also travel by water to the bustling Sorrento and take in the old world surroundings while enjoying an espresso, before you explore the 11th century history of the Duomo di Sorrento .
For added adventure on your honeymoon, why not rent a classic car to drive along the coast and feel the wind in your hair and sun on your face?
There is no shortage of romantic and exciting things to see and do on the Amalfi Coast, this guide to the perfect honeymoon is only a taste. To read more about our Top Wedding Venues on the Amalfi Coast, check out our latest blog post here. Enjoy the escape…
